Minister of State for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Kiwanda Godfrey, has called upon politicians and security agencies to desist from acts of Violence during this electoral time since violence dents the imagine of the country, making it hard to promote the country for tourism.
Kiwanda made the remarks during unveiling of Tigers to the public at Uganda Wildlife conservation education center in Entebbe. He noted that stable political climate and conditions are suitable for reinvestment in the country’s tourism industry.
The pair, Bengal tigers, will draw more numbers of tourists to the country, particularly to Uganda Wildlife conservation and education center- UWEC, for both Tourism Conservation and education purposes.
