Construction of Prof Nabudere Polytechnic institute in Sironko district is at 95% completion.
This is in fulfillment of a presidential pledge made in 2017 in memory of the bush war fighter.
Construction of Prof Nabudere Polytechnic institute in Sironko district will offer different hands on courses to children in the Elgon region.
The Institute whose constriction begun in January this year is a presidential pledge made in 2017 by President Museveni to honor the son of the soil who died in 2011 at the age of 78.
It is part of the projects inspected by officials from office of the president under the manifesto implementation unit who were in the region recently.
With the construction of the technical schools, we will be able to fill existing gaps. Children are walking long distances in order to access education
Prof. Dani Nabudere, who died in 2011, was an accomplished Ugandan political scientist, lawyer and development specialist.
He was also a Uganda National Liberation Front fighter and served as a minister in UNLF interim government.
