FDC NATIONAL COUNCIL TO CHOOSE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE

Forum for Democratic Change National Council is to elect the party’s presidential flag bearer on 6th of October on behalf of the Delegates conference.
The party’s spokesperson Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda said council has a task to choose between Eng. Patrick Amuriat Obbo and Ambassador Wasswa Birigwa as presidential candidate for the forthcoming elections.

Forum for Democratic Change Party presidential aspirants are carrying out joint campaigns in every district.
In western Uganda they met delegates from Mbarara, Bushenyi, Rukungiri, Kanungu, kigezi and kabale and addressed delegates in Kasese Rwenzori sub region.
These will end their campaigns in North and Eastern parts of Uganda.

According to FDC party leadership the nominations for councillors in urban centres where the number is high like Wakiso and Mukono were conducted poorly.
This exercise of nominating candidates at Local Government will be concluded on Thursday this week.

Meanwhile FDC has paid tribute to fallen former Kampala Mayor Alhaji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala for inspiring youth to join politics.
