NRM party tribunal in Hoima district has stated hearing petitions filed by the disgruntled candidates following the recent party primaries.
The Hoima tribunal chaired by the party Secretary-General Mohammed Kiyimba was put in place to handle all complaints from the disgruntled candidiasis arising from the recent primaries.
The Hoima district NRM party Secretary-General Mohammed Kiyimba says the tribunal consists of a team of 6 members that are going to hear all petitions both at the city and district level
Kiyimba says the ongoing investigations will guide the party on the administrative measures to be taken on candidates who could have directly participated in any acts of violence or vote rigging.
The publicity Secretary NRM Godfrey Byaruhanga says they have so far heard some of the petitions from some counties starting with local council petitions
