Kampala Capital City Authority lost 65 billion Ugandan shillings through issuance of overpriced contracts for road construction in 2015. Works estimated to cost 92 billion was later varied at 158 billion.
While receiving the 2016/17 and 2017/18 public Accounts Committee report the Lord Mayor Kampala Erias Lukwago said what was committed was fraud.
