National Unity Platform-NUP Party has unveiled a portrait of its presidential candidate, Kyagulanyi Sentamu Robert. The portrait is the official photo that will be used for the 2021 general elections.
The unveiled portrait does not possess a beret as guided by the Electoral Commission, and the party is challenging the commission to act over continued vandalism of its members campaign posters.
The launched campaign poster of presidential hopeful, Kyagulanyi Sentamu Robert without a beret, is to be popularized to replace the old one.
This sends a message to all NUP flag bearers to change their portrait by dropping the beret on their campaign posters as guided by the electoral commission.
During the unveiling of Kyagulanyi campaign poster, the National Unity Platform called for protection from the electoral commission over vandalism of their posters.
The party is yet to unveil its manifesto containing its commitments and ideology to the people of Uganda.
Arrests of NUP supporters and limited media space are among the hurdles the party urges Government to address as they hinder their operations.
Kyagulanyi ssentamu Robert is the NUP flag bearer and will be nominated on the 3rd of November this year as a presidential contestant in the 2021 general elections.Follow Us on Social Media
