Preliminary results from Luweero district indicate that the minister for higher Education Dr. John Chrysostom Muyingo is losing in the NRM primaries.
The total tallied results are yet to be declared by the Luweero district NRM EC at Luweero district headquarters this evening.

State minister for Higher Education Dr JC Muyingo who sounded confident after winning with 237 votes at All Saints COU Kakoola Polling station against 1 vote for his opponent Ali Ndawula promises to start business enterprises for his Bamunaanika Constituency people.

He appreciates Luweero district people for being peaceful throughout the campaigns.
Cissy Mulondo the Luweero district Woman MP Aspirant is also in a big lead against all the rest of the contestants according to provisional results.
Cissy Mulondo promises to be a credible woman MP for Luweero district.

In Katikamu North incumbent MP Abraham James Byandaala, also former Works and Transport minister had lost in Luweero Town Council and in most urban centers of the constituency to his sole opponent Gaddaffi Nassur.
In Katikamu South Patricia Magara is leading in the race where she is with incumbent MP Edward Ssembatya Ndawula and retired Major Haj Abubaker Karume to the Katikamu South NRM flag.
The rest of the candidates vying for the Woman MP flag are Eng. Lillian Nakate the incumbent, Joy Namulindwa, Phoebeh Namulindwa, Faridhah Nakalawa, Zenar Nassur and Rebecca Nalwanga, a former Luweero district Woman MP.
