The people with disabilities in masindi have appealed to government to equip the orthopedic facility with funding and manpower to improve service delivery.
Mwambu William the district male councilor for people with disabilities decries inadequate and expensive equipment including wheel-chairs and clutches to favour disabled patients who visit the hospital hence calling for government intervention. This is as Kinyara Sugar works company donates 3.8 million cheque to orthopedic department purchase 15 wheel chairs and clutches for PWDS in the district.

Richard wanock the communications manager Kinyara sugar works noted that the donation was part of their social cooperate responsibility to the people with disabilities in the district.
