After the conclusion of the National Resistance Movement party primaries across the country some aspirants who lost the primaries have not lost hope.
They plan to have a second try in the 2021 general elections.
Contesting as an independent candidate in the forth coming general elections 2021 is the next window of hope for losers in the NRM Primaries.
The Member of Parliament Kassanda South constituency, Simeo Nsubuga who lost to a new comer Muhumuza Micheal with 11,173 from all the five Sub-Counties is prepared to retain his seat as an independent candidate.
Nsubuga says he lost because so many issues were handled by security though the office of the RDC Mubende not complying with the law and he is stronger compared to the flag bearer.
Meanwhile the minister of state for Primary Education and Wakiso Woman Member of parliament, Rosemary Nansubuga Sseninde commends the NRM National Electoral Commission for the work well done.
Sseninde encourages members of the party who lost in the primaries to work towards strengthening party structures and where need be to contest as independents in the forthcoming general elections.
Sseninde who won the NRM party flag for woman Member of Parliament Wakiso District with 99% was addressing the press conference at her home in Kasangati Wakiso District.
By press time, winners were still celebrating victory, despite the fact that, those lost are also mourning
