NO ALLOWANCES FOR GOV’T SPONSORED STUDENTS

Kyambogo University has set the 16th of November to have its second semester examinations for the final year students.
The vice chancellor Prof. Eli Katunguka has clarified that all government sponsored students won’t get allowance has it has been before.
At least 11,943 students are finalizing studies in different disciplines at Kayambogo University.
By 20th March 2020, 75% of the necessary teaching was covered and they are to utilize only four weeks to finish the 25% leading before sitting final exams set for 16th November.
Prof. Katunguka has encouraged government sponsored students to prepare for self-financing.
Normal studies will commence on 19th of October 2020.
Students are advised to pay school dues in the four weeks provided.
The University is in the process of rescheduling students on the evening program.
In March 2020, government announced a lockdown, closed down all learning institutions and schools sending 15 million learners home to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
