ONE-STOP SERVICE CENTRE TO BE COMMISSIONED IN KASESE

Government has approved nineteen locations for a One-Stop Centre, where the public will access its services.
The first of its kind is soon to be commissioned in Kasese District under an initiative supervised by the Ministry of Public Service.
The Kasese One-Stop Centre is the first in the Country that has been established through a Five Hundred Million Shillings funding by the Ministry of Public Service.
Within the One-stop Centre, important services will be provided to save time for both, clients and government officials.
Government entities such as Uganda Revenue Authority, Uganda Registration Services Bureau, National Social Security Fund, and Micro-Finance Support Centre, will serve their clients efficiently under one roof.
Kasese District took an upper hand due to its readiness in the pilot project, ahead of Entebbe Municipality and Jinja City.
Accordingly, the One-Stop service center will be rolled out to the other 135 districts after easement from the pilot project.
