Former footballers’ initiative’s pursuit of addressing the plight of former footballers has been boosted by collaboration with the Prince Kimbugwe foundation.
This partnership will not only provide health but also further linkages to better the task.

As the world copes with the covid-19 pandemic, a group of ex-players under former footballers’ initiative is straining every sinew to ensure the well-being of its retired colleagues is addressed.
The group has helped many of its colleagues including, Obadiah Semakula, Gerald Kabeireho, Moses Ndawula, Jimmy Muguwa and Sula Kato that were in dire need.
The works of the group didn’t go unnoticed with applause from individuals like Prince Engineer Doctor Edward Kimbugwe who has now joined in a big way.

This eye care treatment towards former footballers’ will be launched soon but stands to benefit entire communities.

The former footballers’ initiative members also target the current crop to which they propose pursuance of education and recruiting managers for proper counsel.

The group isn’t only about offering hand-outs like cash to its colleagues but also helps educate their children and providence towards self-sustenance through agriculture.
