Shema South Member of Parliament and Minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs also NRM Party flag bearer Prof. Ephraim Kamuntu has called for reconciliation and forgiveness towards those he claims attempted to deprive him of his victory in the just concluded constituency NRM party primaries.

He called upon other party members to respect the NRM’s code of conduct which calls for use of persuasive language.
Commenting on Shema South elections he said there was willful electoral fraud by the electoral officials who connived with his opponents. He explained they had transmitted different forms that had been altered along the way to the tally centre instead of the official results from the polling stations.
He also complained that the election exercise to elect the NRM party flag bearers for MP’s was conducted without a clear and clean voters register.
