The local community living near Mutukula border wants Government to relax on the border crossing restrictions in order to revive cross border trade and improve their livelihoods.
Truck drivers are urging the Ugandan Government to speed up the covid-19 testing in order to reduce time spent at the border.
On average, truck drivers from Tanzania spend at least 5 days at the Mutukula one stop border post before being cleared and given permission to continue with their journey.
