Stop Sleeping With Clients – Nessim Advises Fellow Producers

Super talented music producer, Nessim of Shotgun records has advised fellow producers to stop sleeping with their clients – the artistes.

Nessim, real name Isma Mukkuza, is a gem in audio production. He has crafted beats for Ugandans and those in other countries.

Nessim cautioned them that mixing business with pleasure is deterrent to a producer’s success.
He described those who mix the two as unserious

“I personally can never sleep with an artiste who has come to my studio to record a song. I respect my job. I don’t come here to play. If I sleep with my clients then I don’t think my business can grow,” he explained.

Nessim gives his attention to business strictly and he recently showed interest in signing a 15 year old Lucky Jo from Kumi district as an artist.

Lucky Jo whose voice can leave one wondering if the toddler has been singing for years, Just like his name, could have a very bright future as renowned audio producer Nessim is set to sign him as his first artist.

The multi-talented Lucky Jo started his music journey in his Primary Seven vacation where he wrote his first song Keity.

Nessim is a father of two and has a wife at home. He is responsible for making some of the biggest songs in Uganda.

Some of his hit songs include Spice Diana’s Jangu Ondabe, Chozen Becky’s Bankuza, Biri Biri by King Saha, Turn de Replay by Levixone, Mummy yo, among others.

His international clients include stars like Koshens, The Ben, Cherry Na Nina, Patoranking, Harmonize.

A number of his fellow producers have been accused of sleeping with artistes with the promise of making them superstars.
