5. Koffee (Reggae Princess)
Mikayla Simpson (born 16 February 2000), better known as Koffee, is a Jamaican reggae singer, songwriter, rapper, deejay and guitarist from Spanish Town, Jamaica. She released her debut single “Burning” in 2017, and in 2019 signed with Columbia Records. Her 2019 EP Rapture won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, making Koffee the youngest person and only woman to be awarded in the Best Reggae Album category
4.Vybz kartel (World Boss )
Adidja Azim Palmer (born 7 January 1976), better known as Vybz Kartel, is a Jamaican reggae dancehall musician, singer, composer, record producer and entrepreneur. Among his various nicknames, he is referred to as “Worl’ Boss” and has been recognized as one of the genre’s most prolific and skilled lyricists credited with further popularizing dancehall.
Kartel’s singles have achieved cultural ubiquity across the Caribbean, including “Romping Shop” (2009), “Dancehall Hero” (2010) and “Summer Time” (2011). Having collaborated with a number of internationally prominent hip hop and R&B artists such as Major Lazer, Rihanna and Jay Z, he has also been credited as an inspiration for the dancehall-infused work of a number of Western artists, including Drake, who has cited Kartel as being one of his “biggest inspirations”.
In 2014, Kartel was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his associate Clive “Lizard” Williams. He will be eligible for parole once he has served a minimum of 35 years in prison. Despite being imprisoned, Kartel continues to release new music prolifically, releasing over 50 new songs in 2016 alone

Have you ever heard of the word Squash?, I bet you have and you are thinking about that Racket Sport, or that vegetable, right?
One of the Dictionary’s definition of Squash is a racket sport played by two (singles) or four players (doubles) in a four-walled court with a small, hollow rubber ball.
The players must alternate in striking the ball with their racket and hit the ball onto the playable surfaces of the four walls of the court..
This time around we are actually making reference to a fast rising Dancehall and Reggae music artiste.
Hailing from the community of Salt Spring in St. James, is this very talented, hardcore, hard hitting and gritty recording artiste who goes by the name of ‘Squash’.
Although he has been around for many years doing music, it was not until 2016 that he started to get the real recognization from players in dancehall and Reggae music industry. This was after he released ‘Buss E SK’, ‘Nuh Response’, ‘Fi You Dirt and his break out single ‘Life Story Pt.1’.
Since the start of 2017 Squash has released a number of street/underground dancehall track. Some of these tracks are:

Most of his song are laced with gun/violent lyrics and thus some would say that he’s promoting crime and violence in the society. In July of 2018 Squash released another street banger titled Trending produced by Onetime Music.
Andrae Hugh Sutherland (born 19 July 1988), known professionally as Popcaan, is a Jamaican deejay, singer and songwriter from the parish of Saint Thomas.
In 2008, Popcaan joined Vybz Kartel’s Gaza Music Empire. In 2010, he released his breakthrough international hit “Clarks” with Kartel, an ode to the popular shoe brand.
In 2014, Popcaan signed with Mixpak Records and released his debut studio album, Where We Come From. Popcaan’s international singles include “Only Man She Want” (2011), “Everything Nice” (2014), “Ova Dweet” (2016), “El Chapo” (2017), and “Family” (2017). Popcaan made his acting debut in the film The Intent 2: The Come Up (2018).
Popcaan has collaborated with a number of international artists, most notably Drake, Jamie xx, Pusha T, Giggs, Matoma, Wale, Gorillaz and Davido.
His second album for Mixpak Records, entitled Forever, was released on 20 July 2018.
