Uganda continues to register progress in the fight against covid19 with no death reported so far since the first case was reported in March 2020.
Ministry of Health seems ready to handle any health eventuality even without Corona.
Even when plans to prepare Namboole for the same are ongoing, there is still space in Uganda’s health facilities to accommodate the patients.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has spread across the Globe causing death and social and economic strain
Although Uganda is yet to record any COVID-19 death, the economy has been disreupted whereas the global travel ban that has affected key sectors of the economy.

There are now over 14.7 million confirmed COVID-19 cases globally, with over 610,000 fatalities and more than 8.3 million recoveries,.
According to the latest tally from Johns Hopkins University The Chinese mainland has a total of 83,693 COVID-19 cases and the death toll stands at 4,653. 

Members of Parliament say Uganda has hit a mark in the fight against Covid19.
As the country looks forward to the next presidential address on the virus, government must to consolidate achievements registered in the fight.
Some legislators who rate Uganda’s performance at 70 percent want all gaps filled in the fight against the virus.
