UGANDA RAILWAYS TO RECLAIM ITS LAND IN 14 DAYS

Residents of industrial view Namugongo Village have received a letter from Uganda Railways Corporation to vacate part of its land that was encroached on within 14 days.
The Residents, however, allege that they do not have where to go.
The Chairperson, Industrial View zone, Emmanuel Ssebulo, says the eviction letter hit them by surprise and asked for help from stake holders.
NRM Chairperson, Bukasa-Muyenga, Yasin Omari, attributes this to the current political situation in the country.
