Officials from The office of the prime minister and Greater Nebbi elders have discussed a comprehensive framework aimed at transforming the people of Nebbi, Zombo and Pakwach districts.
The meeting was chaired by the state minister for northern Uganda Grace Kwiyucwiny at Royal Atlas Hotel in Nebbi district
Elders drawn from three districts of west Nile have held a discussion with officials from the office of the prime minister aimed at fast tracking development in the arae.
Through adoption of set coherent programs, district leaders from greater Nebbi which comprises of Nebbi, Zombo and Pakwach seek to achieve Strategic objectives involving all stakeholders.
The state minister for northern Uganda Grace Kwiyucwiny who chaired the meeting asked the elders to adopt economic strategic plans that will transform their communities.
Kwiyucwiny says the proposals are aimed at improving livelihood and access to basic socio services.
The RDC Nebbi Omara Christopher appealed to the district leaders to utilize the available peace to achieve the strategic recovery goals
The elders’ forum waa aimed at examining the impact of Peace, food security and development Plan for the greater Nebbi sub-region.
